Does Like Nu cover concrete repairs?
Yes, Like Nu will blend in and match the repair section to the entire area.
Note: Like Nu does not change the texture of the repair so it needs to match the surrounding concrete.
For example if you have 40 year old concrete and make a repair with a smooth finish the repair texture will still show. Make sure to sand or grind repairs flush to surrounding concrete and match finish.
Is Like Nu an overlay or epoxy?
Like Nu Concrete Restoration Kit is not an overlay or epoxy. Like Nu Concrete is modified cement that permeates the surface allowing air and moisture to breathe. While traditional overlays are susceptible to cracking and peeling, Like Nu Concrete does not peel or crack.
Does the concrete surface need to be cleaned?
Yes. Clean concrete surface and remove all oils and other debris. Rinse and allow to dry thoroughly before applying Like Nu Concrete Restoration Kit.
How long does Like Nu Concrete Restoration Kit (spray) need to dry before walking on it?
Depending on the outside temperature, we recommend allowing the product to cure and dry for 30 to 60 minutes.
If the outside temperature is:
- 80°F and above, the Like Nu Concrete will dry as fast as 10 minutes.
- 70°F to 80°F, the Like Nu Concrete will dry as fast as 30 minutes or less.
- 55° to 70°, the Like Nu Concrete will dry in approximately 1 hour to 4 hours.
- We do not recommend applying Like Nu Concrete in weather below 55°
How long does the Like Nu mix last?
Once Part A and Part B are mixed, Like-Nu will last approximately 2 hours depending on the outside temperature. Re-mix accordingly.
Do I need to wear protective clothing when spraying the Like Nu Concrete mix?
We recommend long pants and a long sleeve shirt and always use a mask, gloves, and eye safety glasses when using any concrete products. While mixing and spraying, we recommend a N95 respirator mask.
What happens if Like Nu Concrete mix drips on my working surface?
Drips are very common when spraying. If product drips on your working surface, simply use a medium gauge paint roller or sponge pad to smooth out the drips and lightly respray.
How long do I have to wait before spraying another coat of the Like-Nu Concrete mix?
Let each coat dry 30 minutes if temperature is below 80°F. If above 80°F, let each coat dry at least 20 minutes.
Hand test to make sure the application is dry before adding the next coat.
Does the outside weather temperature effect the Like Nu spray and drying time?
The warmer the weather, the faster the Like-Nu product will dry.
Depending on the outside temperature, we recommend allowing the product to cure and dry for 30 to 60 minutes.
If the outside temperature is:
- 80 degrees and above: walk on in 10 min
- 70 - 80 degrees: walk on in 30 min or less
- 55 - 70 degrees: Walk on in 1 to 4 hours
- Under 55: don’t spray.
How many coats of Like Nu should I spray on my concrete?
Depending on the condition of your concrete we recommend two (2)
coats for driveways, patios, and walkways, and 3+ for pool decks.
If your concrete is over 30 years old, it might take additional coats.
Can I spray Like Nu Concrete on to a damp or wet surface?
Do not spray Like Nu Concrete on a wet surface. Your concrete surface must be dry.
Do I have to trowel the Like Nu product on?
No trowel is needed with the Like Nu product.
Like Nu Concrete is the Most User Friendly Concrete in the World. Simply clean, mix, and spray.
Do I have to Roll the Like Nu Concrete mix on?
You can roll the Like Nu Concrete mix if you prefer but it is easier to spray. We recommend a HDX 2 Gallon Multi-Purpose Lawn and Garden Pump Sprayer. We recommend rolling heavily sprayed areas and drip marks the sprayer may cause.
Can I add more water to the Like Nu Concrete mix to make it a lighter color?
No. please see instructions. Adding water does not make the color of the concrete lighter.

Do you work with contractors or have a list of contractors who will apply Like Nu Concrete for me?
Currently, we do not have a recommendation for contractors.
You can spray Like Nu Concrete yourself and save the money of
hiring a contractor.
If spraying Like Nu Concrete is not for you, contact a local and trusted contractor to spray the product for you.
Will Like Nu Concrete work on acidic brown battery stains, oil, or grease stains?
Yes. All stains, especially oil and grease stains, will need to be thoroughly cleaned before spraying Like Nu Concrete. We recommend degreasers for oil stains or concrete cleaners for other stains. After thoroughly cleaning the stain we recommend 2 extra coats on the affected stain area.
We recommend purchase our Driveway Kit that comes with a degreaser.

What color is the base spray?
The base concrete color is a medium gray. It is the natural color of new concrete.
Can you add color to the mix?
Yes, you can add color to the mix. We recommend spraying a sample of your mixed color on a small section and let dry for 30 minutes (depending on the outdoor temperature) to make sure it is the final color you want.

Should I use a pressure washer after applying Like Nu Concrete?
No. Pressure washing will damage the Like Nu concrete finish. We recommend using a hose and soap and broom sweep.
If the new stains do not come out, simply reapply Like Nu Concrete. We recommend reapplying Like Nu every 3 to 4 years.
How long does the Like Nu Concrete surface typically last?
We recommend reapplying Like Nu every 4 years.
